How our anonymous Instagram viewer works
When you open a profile in the Instagram app while logged in, Instagram knows it was you — and depending on what you tap, the other person can find out too. Story views are logged with your name. Accidental likes happen at 2am. Profile visits feed the algorithm, and suddenly their account is at the top of your suggestions (and sometimes, you're in theirs).
UnfollowCheck works differently. Our viewer reads Instagram's public data — the same information anyone could see in a logged-out browser — and presents it in one clean report.
