Terms of Service - Mobile App

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the UnfollowCheck mobile application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

UnfollowCheck is a mobile application that helps you analyze Instagram followers and following lists. When you run a manual check, the App processes your uploaded Instagram data export locally on your device; when you use auto-checks and watchlists, the App tracks the public follower and following lists of profiles you choose. It provides insights about:

• New followers
• Lost followers (unfollowers)
• Mutual followers
• People you follow who don't follow back
• Your fan club (people who follow you but you don't follow back)
• Historical trends and analytics

3. How Your Data Is Processed

Manual check (on your device):

• You manually upload your Instagram data export to the App
• That file is processed and stored locally on your device only
• Your uploaded data file never leaves your device, and we cannot access it

Auto-checks & watchlists:

• For profiles you choose to track, the App stores their public follower and following lists with our provider (Supabase) to compare each check against the previous one and notify you of changes
• This uses public data about tracked profiles — not your uploaded data file — and requires no account or login

4. Purchases and Subscriptions

App Store Transactions:

• All purchases are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store
• Payment will be charged to your App Store account
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled 24 hours before renewal
• Manage subscriptions in your device's App Store settings

No Refunds Policy:

• All sales are final - we do not provide refunds
• Refund requests must be made directly through Apple App Store or Google Play Store
• We cannot process refunds outside of the official app store policies
• Free trial periods (if offered) allow you to test features before purchasing

Premium Features:

• Some features may require premium subscription or one-time purchase
• Premium features are clearly marked in the App
• Pricing is displayed in your local currency through the App Store

5. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information when using the App
• Use the App only for lawful purposes
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Not use the App to harass, spam, or harm other users
• Comply with Instagram's Terms of Service when exporting your data
• Not share premium features or attempt to circumvent purchase requirements

6. Instagram Data Requirements

• You must own the Instagram account for data you analyze
• You are responsible for legally obtaining your Instagram data export
• We are not affiliated with Instagram or Meta Platforms
• Instagram may change their data export format, affecting App functionality

7. Device and System Requirements

• Compatible iOS/Android device required
• Sufficient storage space for your Instagram data
• You are responsible for device security and data protection
• App functionality may vary based on device capabilities

8. Intellectual Property

The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by MediaVikings (CVR: 43433547) and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

9. Disclaimers

• The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We do not guarantee the accuracy of follower analysis
• App functionality depends on Instagram's data export format
• We are not responsible for Instagram policy changes
• No guarantee of uninterrupted service or bug-free operation

10. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall MediaVikings (CVR: 43433547) be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the App, including but not limited to lost followers, account issues, or data loss.

11. Termination

• We may terminate your access to the App for Terms violations
• You may stop using the App at any time
• Termination does not entitle you to refunds
• Local data remains on your device unless manually deleted

12. App Store Terms

• You must also comply with Apple App Store or Google Play Store Terms of Service
• App Store terms take precedence for purchase-related matters
• We are not responsible for App Store policy changes

13. Updates and Changes

• We may update the App to maintain functionality
• Some updates may be required for continued use
• We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time
• Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Denmark, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
